to the Parish: |
Attend
the Mass that you are scheduled to serve. (One hour time commitment). Before Mass begins, light the candles in the Sanctuary. Carry the Processional Cross during the entrance and recessional processions. Assist the celebrant during Mass. This includes holding the sacramentary book during opening and closing praryers, hold candles during gospel reading, and assist the celebrant at Communion time. After Mass, bring the vessels from the side table in the sacristy for the sacristan to purify. Special celebrations to serve for: Christmas Masses Palm Sunday Holy Thursday Good Friday Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday . |
